Are you a creative professional keen to share some of your insights with young people and inspire the next generation? The Creative Cafe, jointly developed by Culture Shift and Young Enterprise and hosted by the De La Warr Pavilion would like to hear from you.
The Creative Cafe is aimed at young people 14-16, this Cafe throws a spotlight on creative enterprise. Creative Cafés – are
informal and lively networking events for creative industry professionals, young people and educators. They are facilitated by an expert and allow for maximum creative communication between all participants. Up to 75 young people from schools in Hastings, Bexhill on Sea and Eastbourne are due to attend.
What kind of Creative professionals are they looking for?
They are looking for a number of professionals willing to give up a half day to meet young people and talk about their careers, their passions and their business. Ideally they are looking for people working in design, digital media, visual arts, photography, film, craft and making, performance, music industry, live events, marketing and promotion.
Previous experience of working with young people is not essential, just a passion for your business or profession, a willingness to share your expertise and insight into making a living as a creative professional.
The Creative Cafe provides the morning programme of a full day event designed to inform and inspire young people about what it takes to develop a creative enterprise.
