Jubilant staff at Marshall-Tufflex are celebrating after the cable and energy management specialist scored a hat-trick at the inaugural Electrical Wholesaler Awards 2014.
The British manufacturer beat stiff competition to walk away with top spot in all three of the categories it was entered in – Best Supplier Customer Service; Best Overall Supplier and Best New Product for its Voltis ECO voltage optimisation system.
“It was a fantastic surprise, we barely had time to sit down between each award being announced!” said Marshall-Tufflex CEO Paul Hetherington. “We are obviously delighted at winning, especially so given that these awards were voted for by our customers.
It’s a huge accolade and one that is very special. Thank you.” The awards recognise the achievements of electrical wholesalers and manufacturers. They were presented at a gala dinner at the Tower Hotel, London, on May 20.
Mr Hetherington attended together with Jeremy Dodge, Head of Marketing and Technical Services, and Ronnie Ford, Marketing Section Leader.
The triumphant team returned to their base in Hastings, East Sussex, with the three glass trophies which will take pride of place in the company’s reception.
“The trophies are a very visible sign of all the hard work that everyone in the business has put in to make Marshall-Tufflex the success that it is,” said Mr Hetherington. “Each represents a tremendous team effort from all employees and is a testament to their hard work. Well done!”
