The National Minimum Wage will be going up in October 2014 after the Low Pay Commission main recommendations on national minimum wage rates were taken up by the government in full. Here’s what you need to know:
For 16-17 year old workers its going up from £3.72 to £3.79 per hour
For 18 – 20 year old workers its going up from £5.03 to £5.13 per hour
For Adults over 21 its going up from £6.31 to £6.50 per hour.
And finally for any0ne who has an apprentice (or apprentices) it will go up from £2.68 to £2.73 per hour.
