Business In Hastings visitors are warmly invited to the seminar ‘Low-carbon makeovers and developments’ organised by the project partners of the ACE project.
ACE (Answers to the Carbon Economy) is a cross border project involving UK, French and Belgian partners. The challenge is to develop responses to Europe’s 20:20:20 reduction targets whilst maximising business opportunities and increasing competitiveness.
They aim to demonstrate how to retrofit existing buildings, build new sustainable business parks and facilitate business-to-business exchanges that will meet future targets in carbon, energy and resource efficiency.
What can you expect to learn:
They will offer practical insights into how best to green your buildings, plan and build sustainable business parks. We will consider why this is important and how to address the knowledge and skills gaps. Hear from Gregg Chant-Hall, Head of Sustainability, Skanska; Jane Ollis, CEO, BSK-CiC; Ian McKay, Director, BBM Sustainable Design and many others. The afternoon workshops are an opportunity to share and exchange experiences/challenges. We look forward to seeing you on the 4 December 2013 and welcome your participation.
Who is the seminar for?
